Castle Hohenschwangau

We will visit the famous castle Hohenschwangau, where Bavarian King Ludwig II. grew up and spend most of his life.
It is much older and historic than teh castle of Neuschwanstein, that is nearby.
A train journey through the majestic Bavarian countryside takes us to the idyllic setting of Hohenschwangau.
Where only a 30 minute hike separates us from the magic entrance.
After a guided tour through the castle another short hike to the Marienbrücke reveals picture-perfect views of Neuschwanstein.

Please consider wearing appropriate footwear for the uphill walks.
