Regensburg
Sunday 26.11.2017, 09:00-20:00 Uhr
Regensburg is home to two thousand years of living history. Some of Europes’ most important architectural and cultural monuments, plus fascinating museums and art collections make this an attractive place to spend some time. Genuine Bavarian hospitality adds a special note to the vibrant mix of art and culture.
Situated on the banks of the Danube, Regensburg is the ideal base for boat trips along the river. The medieval townscape of the former free imperial city is characterized by red roofs, churches, towers, turrets and townhouses from the 12th to 14th centuries. Built in stone, they were a symbol of the wealth of what was then the richest town in southern Germany The old town belongs to the UNESCO world heritage.
In Regensburg we will enjoy a guided city tour in English and in the afternoon head out to the Wallhalla.
