We will visit the famous castle Hohenschwangau, which is located right next to Neuschwanstein.
Other than Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau is a real historic castle that the Bavarian royal family actually lived in. Also other than Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau was actually finished and is not just an empty tourist trap.
A train journey through the majestic Bavarian countryside takes us to the idyllic setting of Hohenschwangau.
Where only a 30 minute hike separates us from the magic entrance.
After a guided tour through the castle another short hike to the Marienbrücke reveals picture-perfect views of this masterpiece.

Please consider to wear appropriate footwear for the uphill walks.

Other than the 30 minutes this event will be exactly the same as the previous trips to Neuschwanstein. You will be able to get all the post card views of Neuschwanstein from the outside.
