Linderhof Palace

Join us for a beautiful hike over the Ammergau Alps and down the valley for a tour of King Ludwig II’s famous Linderhof Palace!

The hike will take 3.5-4 hours. We will break for lunch near Pürschlinghaus at the summit with a great view before finishing the hike down to the palace.

Linderhof Palace is one of three palaces which Ludwig II of Bavaria started during his lifetime (perhaps you’ve heard of Neuschwanstein?) but Linderhof is the only one that he saw completed and fully decorated. We will tour the inside of the palace and the gardens before we return to Munich.

Please bring hiking-appropriate shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a backpack with snacks and a lunch (or money to buy one).
