The Concentration Camp Dachau, was inaugurated only a few weeks after the Nazis took over governmental power in January 1933. In the year 2014 the iron gate with the cynical inscription "Arbeit macht frei" was stolen by strangers. However, at the end of 2016 it was found in Norway.
On a guided tour you will hear facts about the everyday life in the camp and the camp prison.
There is the possibility to visit the gas chamber and the crematorium there.
