The old bishoptown Passau is well situated at the confluence of Donau with the rivers Inn and Ilz at the border to Austria.
With its houses, dominated by the fortress Oberhaus, the three-river town offers an amazing view.
Passau is head of a bishop and has an old historical university.
We are sight-seeing places by foot but there are also offers to take a ferry boat.
