Berlin is the capital and the largest city in Germany. With more than 3.5 million inhabitants it is also the capital of culture and arts; also the nightlife is often considered as unique and exceptional in Europe. Historic Berlin offers insights into the younger German history from the third Reich to the reunion. Last but not least the parliament in the Reichstag-building and the seat of government of the chancellor are located there.
