Wanderung & „Slyrs“-Whisky Destilliere

Tegernsee und Schliersee sind zwei von den Bayrischen Alpen umgebene Seen und beliebte Ausgangspunkte für schöne Wanderungen. Nach etwa einer Stunde Zugfahrt von München nach Gmund am Tegernsee, werden wir auf dem Prinzenweg zum Schliersee wandern. Auf der vierstündigen Tour werden wir etwa 700 Höhenmeter bewältigen und schöne Aussichten auf beide Seen und das Voralpenland haben.
Am Schliersee angekommen, besuchen wir nach ausgiebiger Pause am See die Destilliere des bayrischen Single Malt Whisky Slyrs, in der wir die Herstellung des Whiskys kennenlernen.

Was sollten man mitnehmen?

• feste Schuhe! (KEINE Schuhe mit hohem Absatz, Sandalen oder dergleichen) • Sonnencreme bzw. Regenjacke bei schlechtem Wetter
• ggf. Badehose/ Bikini und Handtuch
• Rucksack (KEINE Tragetasche)
• ein Pausenbrot fürs Picknick
• genug zu trinken ~1,5Liter!

Wer kann mitmachen?
Jeder, die Strecke ist nicht schwierig und auch gut machbar für einen ungeübten Wanderer.

Tegernsee und Schliersee are two lakes surrounded by the Bavarian Alps and serve as a good starting point for many nice hiking trips. After the one-hour train ride from Munich to Gmund am Tegernsee, we will take the Prinzen-route to the Schliersee. On this four-hour tour we will get all the way up to 700 meters above sea level and have an amazing view on both lakes and the Voralpenland landscape.
After hiking back down to the Schliersee and taking an extended break to calm down, we will visit the distillery of the Bavarian Single Malt Whisky “Slyrs”, where we will get to know the process of production.

What should you bring to the trip?

• firm and comfortable shoes! (NO high heels, sandals or similar)
• sun cream or rain jacket if the weather sucks
• bikini/ swim trunks or shorts and a towel (in case you want to take a bath in the lake) • a rucksack (NO suitcase NOR carrying bags)
• enough to drink ~1.5litres and to eat (for the picnic)!

Who can participate?
Everyone, the track is suitable for an untrained hiker.
