A high level kick off meeting will take place on November 24, to present the topic „Surveying Health, Aging and Retirement in Egypt and the Middle East”. Representatives from the Ministries of Social Solidarity, Higher Education and Health as well as the German Embassy and the American University in Cairo will be invited. The meeting aims at introducing the concept of Health, Aging and Retirement Studies to the stakeholders and explore the possibilities of introducing these studies in Egypt. The concept will be introduced by Prof. Dr. Axel Börsch-Supan/Professorship of Economics of Aging at TUM and coordinator of the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE)
