Prof. Akira S. Mori in his own words: My research is grounded in community ecology and focuses on how biodiversity contributes to the functioning of ecosystems. I am actively engaged in international scientific collaborations and policy dialogues, including contributions to regional and global environmental assessments. I serve as a Senior Editor for Ecology Letters and as an Advisory Board member for Trends in Ecology & Evolution. I am also an editor for Journal of Applied Ecology, Environmental Management, and Ecosystems.
