Global aspects and challenges of urbanization – such as climate change and the rising number of traffic accidents – demand a rethinking of how we make our cities as resilient and sustainable as possible.
In this TUM Mumbai Dialogue, we will explore recent research solutions from India and Germany in the field of Smart Cities, with a specific emphasis on reducing transport externalities. Multimodal transport and the interactions and synergies between passenger and freight transport will play a particular role. The experts will discuss technological, social, and political aspects, and afterwards there will be a Q&A session.
