Every four years, the European Conference on Neutron Scattering (ECNS) 2023 invites all scientists working with neutrons - or being interested in them. In 2023, the MLZ is happy to host the 8th issue of the most important European conference in this field. It is the first conference of this series in Germany. The MLZ is well known for hosting successful conferences such as the International Conference on Neutron Scattering (ICNS) 2001 and two German Conferences on Neutron Scattering (DN) 2008 and 2020. We await about 700 participants and look forward to many interesting talks, posters, and discussions.
