TUM x IIT Bombay Research Forum 2021: Climate Policy & Action: National and local dimensions in Germany and India

At the end of 2020, a major new international partnership project kicked off: With Exploration. An Indo-German Partnership (IGP), a project funded by the DAAD and the Indian University Grants Commission, TUM and the two Indian Institutes of Technology Bombay and Kharagpur join forces to push forward research in the highly topical fields of climate, environment, energy, mobility, and transportation.

This online Research Forum on the theme of Climate Policy & Action: National and Local Dimensions in Germany and India, with experts from TUM, IIT Bombay, and other distinguished research institutes will be held on 17th December 2021 at 1 p.m. CET / 5:30 p.m. IST. The global climate pledges made by India, Germany and the European Union, and other major players at COP 26 Glasgow will be discussed from the perspective of the Indo-German Partnership on climate change. Discussions will focus on current actions, implementation challenges, and future research collaboration opportunities. Students from TUM and IIT Bombay will also have the opportunity to present their current projects at the forum and discover future research possibilities.

Target group:
All TUM researchers and students interested in climate and environmental policy discussions are cordially invited to join the Forum.

Student Competition:
During this Research Forum, the IGP Student Competition (Climate, Environment, Engery) starting in early 2022 will be announced.
