ProLehre Workshop: Designing and Conducting Examinations
Examining is one of the core tasks of university teachers. But what is a professional examination and how can I optimize my own performance as an examiner? These questions are dealt with in this course by looking at important aspects of planning and conducting examinations, for example constructing learning outcomes and precise questions. Other topics are the quality criteria of exams, typical errors in performing exams and how to reduce exam anxiety. The participants are asked to bring a copy of the FPSOs relevant to the courses they give. This course is equivalent to the German course "Prüfungen als Spiegel der Lehre”.
