TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to promote ideas worth spreading in the TED format (http://ted.com). Stemming from one of the world’s most renowned universities, TEDxTUM aims to intellectually challenge and inspire Germany’s thinkers and doers by spreading innovative ideas and showcasing different perspectives. The first conference in June 2014 was very well received and hosted 6 speakers from inside and outside the TUM (videos available at http://tedxtum.com).

TEDxTUM 2015: FACETS is an all-day event with 12-18 speakers and performances. Speakers (partly from TUM and Munich) will talk about their research and passionate ideas. During the breaks, we will have exciting activities to enable the exchange of ideas between members of the audience.

Tickets are available from the first week of September at http://tedxtum.com. We have reduced rates for students as well as an application-based opportunity to get free access.
