DESCRIPTION:Prof. Nien-hê Hsieh is Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School. He teaches and writes about ethical issues that arise in global economic activity. His current work focuses on developing a framework for business managers operating under institutions that are weak, incomplete, or contested, and on ways to conceptualize the purpose of business. Previously he was an Associate Professor at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has held visiting fellowships at Harvard University, Oxford University, and the Research School for Social Sciences at the Australian National University. He served as the Director, Wharton Ethics Program from 2008 to 2011.
