Colloquium Bioinformatics and Systems Biology
I will explain the development of a series of data and text mining tools and databases and their applications with a focus on the study of networks of interacting proteins, in particular in relation to their alteration in neurodegenerative diseases. We have made most of these resources publicly available as web tools: MedlineRanker, Génie, Alkemio, PESCADOR and HIPPIE.
If there is time I will briefly introduce some other of our tools that use PubMed for various purposes: Peer2ref, MLTrends.
