The talk will focus on all aspects of the Rosetta mission and the spacecraft design that has resulted in the success to reach Comet-67P. The fundamental question: Why do scientists wish to visit a Comet? will be answered. To explain how this has been achieved, the most important aspects of the mission design, spacecraft design, construction, testing and launch will be presented.
