SUMMARY:Common CoTeSys-CREATE Workshop on the Future of Robotics
DESCRIPTION:The Cluster of Excellence CoTeSys (Cognition for Technical Systems) organizes together with CREATE (Center of Robotics for Extreme and Uncertain Environments at Tohoku University/ Japan) a workshop on the future of robotics. The workshop takes place on October 5, 2012 at the IAS-building in Garching, from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The research center CREATE was founded in 2011 as a response to the Fokushima catastrophe. High-ranking scientists present the use of robots in disaster areas or outer space.
