Excursion to Passau
Saturday 25.06.2011, 09:00 - 17:00
We will go to Passau where we plan to have a boat excursion on the river Donau.
The city of Passau is located in the southeast of Germany at the Austrian border. Because of the nearby confluence of the rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz, it is also called "The Three Rivers City".
In June we will go to Passau by train (approx. 2 hours) where we will take a boat on the river Donau. There will be some explanations about the city and its surroundings in German (You will get an information card in English). The tour will last about two hours. Afterwards, we will invite you for lunch (drinks are paid by you). The afternoon is at your disposal to visit the beautiful historic city centre, the cathedral or one of the interesting museums in Passau. We will be back in Munich at about 7 to 8 p.m.
Passau with its unique charm and its atmosphere is one of the most beautiful and spectacular German cities on the river Danube. If you would like to come with us, you and your families are warmly welcome!
