Winter Fun – Skiing, Winter Hiking or Coasting

Saturday 22.01.2011, 08:30 - 16:00

Venue:

Will be announced later

Come with us and enjoy a beautiful winter day in the mountains surrounding Munich. There will be an amazing activity for everybody!

Did you ever try skiing? If not, you now have the chance to try it out. We engaged a ski trainer who will show you how to handle the two skies under your feet. You will discover that it’s pretty much fun to do downhill skiing. (If you already know how to ski, you can go skiing on your own.) And if cross-country skiing is your favourite you will also be able to do that, you can even rent equipment there.

For those who don’t want to ski there will also be the possibility to rent a sled and go coasting on a hill nearby. Or you could participate in our winter hike and enjoy
panoramic views on the alpine tundra and stroll through fairy tale forests where snow covered trees are sparkling in the sun and create a special winter atmosphere…

At about noon we will meet to have lunch altogether in a mountain hut and the afternoon is at your disposal.

When: January 22nd, 2011 at about 8:30 a.m.
Meeting Place: Will be announced later
Price: 40 EUR (for Skiing) and 30 EUR (for any other activity) (to be paid until January 18th, 2011) – Please note that the participation fee doesn’t cover the rental fees for skies and any other equipment. However, ski passes, transportation, lunch and rental fees for sleds are included.
Registration: By email to Wihi-winkler@zv.tum.de before December 17th, 2010
