In March we would like to go with you to a concert by the BR Symphony orchestra and the BR choir. The event is part of the "CULTURAL PROGRAM FOR INTERNATIONAL RESEARCHERS AND FRIENDS" organized by the TUM International Office.

In March we would like to go with you to a concert by the BR Symphony orchestra and the BR choir. The event takes place in the ‘Herkulessaal’ of the Munich Residence and the program includes
  • Ludwig van Beethoven: Große Fuge in B major (opus 133)
  • Anton Bruckner: Mass No. 3 in F minor (WAB 28)
The Bavarian Radio (BR) Symphony Orchestra (Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks) is the internationally renowned orchestra of the Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavarian Radio, BR), based in Munich. The orchestra received the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Orchestral Performance for its recording of Shostakovich's 13th Symphony. It was named the 6th best orchestra in Europe in a survey for Le Monde de la Musique and 6th best orchestra in the world by The Gramophone magazine in 2008.

This event is part of the "CULTURAL PROGRAM FOR INTERNATIONAL RESEARCHERS AND FRIENDS" organized by the TUM International Office:
The program that has been newly established was specifically designed for all international postdoc researchers, guest lecturers and professors as well as their partners and children. It is aimed at showing you a few more facets of TUM, Munich and Bavaria to help you to feel at home during your stay as well as facilitate the networking among each other and with your German counterparts. Therefore the program is open to everyone who wants to join and if you like and places are available you can also bring your friends along.
