The Bavarian Beer Festival, the Oktoberfest, is one of the most famous events taking place each year in Munich, the golden liquid, is – among other attractions – the most important thing during these days at the end of September.

Every year 6 million visitors make their way to the largest folk festival in the world. And this is because the Oktoberfest has much more to offer than exciting roller coasters and huge beer tents. We invite you to come with us, to discover this unique tradition.

This event is part of the "CULTURAL PROGRAM FOR INTERNATIONAL RESEARCHERS AND FRIENDS" organized by the TUM International Office:
The program that has been newly established was specifically designed for all international postdoc researchers, guest lecturers and professors as well as their partners and children. It is aimed at showing you a few more facets of TUM, Munich and Bavaria to help you to feel at home during your stay as well as facilitate the networking among each other and with your German counterparts. Therefore the program is open to everyone who wants to join and if you like and places are available you can also bring your friends along.
