SUMMARY:5th Russian-Bavarian Conference on Bio-Medical Engineering
DESCRIPTION:The oncoming Russian Bavarian Conference on Bio-Medical Engineering is the 5th meeting of the traditional Russian Bavarian cooperation event. It will be held at Klinikum rechts der Isar der Technischen Universtität München under the patronise of Prof. H. Friess and Prof. R. Lange from July 1st to July 4th, 2009. Being already a well known platform for providing exchange and communication for Russian and Bavarian scientists, the focus of the Russian Bavarian Conference 2009 is laid on the interaction between medicine and engineering sciences. A better understanding of the vast potential of modern bio-medical engineering will encourage physicians to develop new visions of advanced diagnostics and therapy. Engineers are better enabled to offer tailored solutions if they are aware of the current problems and limitations of medicine. The precondition, however, is to bring the different worlds together. It is time to bridge the gap! We cordially invite you to come to Munich to contribute your part from your discipline and speciality.
