2nd International Workshop on Protein Analysis of Tissues

Course Objectives: This two day workshop is designed for pathologists, molecular biologists, oncologists, protein scientists, and all researchers interested in tissue proteomics. It features lectures and practical aspects (wet lab course). Topics include: FFPE tissues, frozen tissues, protein extraction, Western blots, protein microarrays, antibody validation, quantitative immunohistochemistry, mass spectrometry, MALDI IMAGING, 2D-PAGE, 2D-DIGE, biobanks, and proteomics for the clinic. Participants can attend lectures and practical courses or attend lectures only. The course language will be English. Course fees: Lectures 50 €; practical course 50€. Participants of the practical course can choose two out of the following four topics: mass spectrometry, protein microarrays, MALDI Imaging, and quantitative immunohistochemistry.
