Die Baustoffsammlung der Technischen Universität München (TUM) ist nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg durch Prof. Franz Hart begründet worden. Sie bestand zunächst aus Natursteinen und wurde im Laufe der Zeit mit anderen Materialgruppen weiter entwickelt. 2015 hat der Leiter der Baustoffsammlung, Johann Weber, den „Natursteinführer München“ am Lehrstuhl für Baukonstruktion und Baustoffkunde erstellt und parallel wurde hierzu eine Fotoausstellung in der Baustoffsammlung konzipiert. 120 Fotos zeigen wo und wie Naturstein in München an Gebäuden verarbeitet worden ist. Unterschiedliche Steinproben laden ein, dieMaterialien „live“ zu erleben.

This symposium constitutes a key event of TUM's 150th Anniversary celebrations, thus providing a platform for exchange and networking between the leadership of the world’s top universities and stakeholders from academia and industry. We will discuss how each and every of those entities can foster the talents of tomorrow and how these different players interact with each other to address the ‘Grand Societal Challenges’. Furthermore, we will tackle the question of how academia and industry interact, and which key factors create success in the diversity of scientific and business cultures.

Für den Berufseinstieg nach der Promotion ist es unerlässlich, die eigenen Qualifikationen fernab der Forschung genau zu kennen und im Anschreiben, im Lebenslauf und im Vorstellungsgespräch konkret beschreiben zu können. In diesem Workshop arbeiten Sie nach einer kompakten Einführung in Kleingruppen intensiv mit dem eigenen Lebenslauf.

Once a year the Presidents of the EuroTech Partner Universities meet to discuss the strategic stepping stones of the Alliance and its main activities. On invitation of President Wolfgang A. herrmann the 2018' meeting will take place at TUM to also celebrate together with the EuroTech partners the 150th anniversary.
