For the research group 2448 evidence practices in science, technology, medicine and society, supported by the German Research Foundation, the following positions are to be staffed at the earliest possible date: One research associate for group coordination and research (100% TV-L 13, duration of 3 years) and one graduate assistant (12h/week)

Our research seeks to deepen understanding of both individual entrepreneur and venture-level phenomena, with an emphasis on quantitative work. Our work includes but it not limited to understanding how entrepreneurial networks come to be and what are their consequences for new venture outcomes (studied from microfinance entrepreneurs in Kenya to venture capitalists networks in USA), how new ventures achieve legitimacy in challenging contexts (for example venture capitalists going abroad, or high tech new ventures competing for attention online) and what are their consequences for resource acquisition; as well as how early decisions imprint (and how long) the venture’s outcomes in the long run. A successful candidate will build on the research at the Institute, but also readily contribute new ideas and project proposals for their thesis. The research will involve working with secondary data, but can also include primary data collection (e.g. combination of interviews, surveys). All communication with the advisor and the academic work will be in English.

We are looking for student assistant(s) with ROS/ROS2 experience at Chair of Automatic Control Engineering (LSR). Ideal candidate(s) should have some background and experience in ROS/ROS2.
