Apartment Search Garching/Surroundings 1. October

17.07.2026, Classified Housing Advertisements

We are three friends (Christian, Mikko, and Teodor) starting our master's studies in Physics, Computer Science, and Mathematics at TUM and are looking for a long-term apartment from October 2026. We are seeking a three-bedroom apartment (up to €2,500 warm rent), ideally in Garching or nearby areas with good public transport connections. We are quiet, reliable, and tidy non-smokers without pets, with rent secured through income, scholarships, BAföG, and parental guarantees.

Greetings,

We, Christian (24), Mikko (23), and Teodor (25), are three friends looking for a long-term home starting on October 1, 2026. Beginning in the winter semester, we will each be starting our master's studies in Physics, Computer Science, and Mathematics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

We are looking for a furnished or unfurnished apartment with three bedrooms for up to approximately €2,500 per month including utilities. Garching or the nearby municipalities of Oberschleißheim, Unterschleißheim, Eching, Neufahrn, and Ismaning would be particularly suitable. However, we are flexible regarding the location as long as TUM and public transportation are easily accessible.

We are quiet, reliable, and tidy, non-smokers, and we do not have any pets. Respecting both the apartment and our neighbors is second nature to us.

The rent is reliably secured through our own income, scholarships, BAföG student aid, and parental guarantees from parents who are civil servants. Upon request, we can promptly provide all necessary documents, including enrollment certificates or admission letters, proof of income or guarantor documents, copies of identification, and CVs.

We would be very pleased to hear from you and would appreciate the opportunity to arrange a viewing.

Kind regards,

Mikko Kormann
