Searching for a Hardware Engineer/Mechanical Cofounder

The vast majority of sugarcane cultivation in India is managed by smallholder farmers who are entirely locked out of modern agricultural mechanization. Commercially available harvesters are industrial behemoths costing tens of thousands of euros, making them financially impossible for a family-owned plot. Consequently, these farmers are forced to rely on brutal, manual labor to harvest their crops. This stark gap in the market is how this idea was born: the goal is to build a compact, semi- or fully automated sugarcane harvesting machine tailored specifically for smallholder sugarcane farmers in India, targeting a strict manufacturing cost of €1,000 to €5,000.
However, low cost is only a baseline requirement. The absolute core mandate of this machine is the near-total elimination of manual physical effort.
In smallholder agriculture, a tool that only halfway assists the harvest is fundamentally pointless. If the farmer still has to spend all day in the field doing heavy lifting, the loop isn't broken. The true value proposition of this machine isn't just raw efficiency or crop yield, it is saved time and effort. By removing the grueling physical toll of the harvest, we directly give families their time, health, and future back.
The Co-Founder Fit: I am building this from a business, software, AI, and data-driven perspective, meaning the funding, digital architecture, and market viability are being accounted for. What I lack is the deep mechanical expertise. I am looking for a hardware-focused co-founder, ideally with experience and evidence of having produced physical products from just an idea, who can take the lead on mechanical engineering, physical prototyping, and manufacturing to help turn this blueprint into a functional, life-changing machine.
