Student Assistant (Hiwi) to evaluate usability of ML/DL models

We are looking for a motivated student assistant helping with developing software to easily access ML/DL models developed at the Computational Health Center.

Your profile 

  • Proficient in python 
  • Hands-on experience with running and training of ML models 
  • Molecular biology knowledge is advantageous 
  • Great attention to detail and comfortable working in an agile environment 
  • Currently enrolled as a Bachelor or Master’s student 

Your tasks 

  • Work on an existing software package that provides unified access to ML/DL models and manages dependencies 
  • Integrate further models 
  • Run/deploy selected public ML/DL models on the Helmholtz HPC cluster 
  • Test if fine-tuning of these models is possible
