Manager for International Programs & Alliances (w/m/d) | TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning – Executive and Professional Education

Within the Executive and Professional Education unit of the TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning, we are looking for an International Programs & Alliances Manager to join our team on a full-time basis as soon as possible.

The Institute for LifeLong Learning bundles the diverse activities of scientific continuing education at TUM and develops innovative content and formats for both internal and external stakeholders. This position is part of the Executive and Professional Education and is based within the Stakeholder Management & B2B Programs Team.

Your responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact person for international programs and partnerships, serving as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage the entire customer journey for selected international delegations, from program design and proposal development to implementation and evaluation.

• Support the diversification of the program portfolio by actively developing and executing strategic initiatives.

• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement to ensure the efficient delivery and administration of international programs across the Institute.

What we are looking for

• You hold a Master's degree in Management, International Business, International Relations, Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.

• You have several years of professional experience in an international environment and bring a solid understanding of business development, customer acquisition, and partnership management.

• You are experienced in managing international programs, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and building strategic networks.

• You have excellent communication skills, enjoy actively approaching people, and can network quickly and authentically with people from different cultural backgrounds, professional groups, and hierarchical levels.

• You have a structured work style, a professional and diplomatic approach, take the initiative, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• You have excellent project management skills and manage to motivate different stakeholders.

• Experience with CRM systems is an advantage; alternatively, a strong willingness to learn and work with new digital tools and platforms.

• You have excellent written and spoken English skills and a good level of written and spoken German skills. Other languages are an advantage.
