Software Engineer Koinon (m/f/d) (up to TVL-E13)

We are looking for an engaged Software Engineer to join us in the further development of Koinon as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term contract, full-time.

Your Responsibilities:

· Development and optimization of PHP web applications in the MVC framework

· Implementation and maintenance of REST APIs based on OpenAPI

· Building and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

· Working with relational databases (MySQL, SQL) and migration tools (Phinx)

· Using and managing container technologies such as Docker

· Development and maintenance of back-end services with PHP

· Implementing modern frontend solutions with HTML5, CSS (including Bootstrap), and JavaScript

· Using version control systems (GitLab) for efficient collaboration

· Applying agile methodologies and Scrum in software development

Your Profile:

· Successfully completed studies (Master’s/University diploma) in an IT-related field

· Expertise in web development and backend technologies

· Several years of experience as a software developer with PHP and MVC architectures

· Proficient in using GitLab and CI/CD processes

· Knowledge of SQL databases and their modeling

· Experience with agile development methods and Scrum

· Independent and structured working style

· Very good competences (C1 level) of English, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite Our
