The TUM SEED Center for Sustainable Energies, Entrepreneurship and Development at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) conducts research and offers higher education to contribute to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Funded by DAAD, the TUM SEED Center collaborates with ten leading technical universities in the Global South, including Burkina Institute of Technology (Burkina Faso), Bahir Dar University (Ethiopia), Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (India), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya), Namibia University of Science and Technology (Namibia), Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (Peru), Stellenbosch University (South Africa), and Makerere University (Uganda).

Are you passionate about communicating and organizing impactful events? Do you care about sustainable development and making the world a better place? TUM SEED Center is looking for:

Project Coordinator m/f/d (50-100 %)

The position will be for two years, starting from 1 April 2025 (with the possibility of prolongation).

Your tasks include:

• Communicating SEED events and activities in social and online media

• Building and maintaining the SEED Alumni Association

• Organizing SEED events, more specifically the SEED Center Annual Symposium and the International Summer School

• Coordinating travel arrangements for international students and scholars (flights, accommodation, visas)

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields (e.g. communications and media, event management, international relations, cultural studies)

• 1 year professional experience in communication, planning and organizing events

• Expertise in social media, website editing, and newsletter tools

• Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and German

• Strong organizational and event management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
