Rudolf Mößbauer Tenure Track Assistant Professorships

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) invites applications for the prestigious Rudolf Mößbauer Tenure Track Assistant Professorships to be appointed in summer semester 2025. The positions are W2 fixed-term (6 year) tenure-track professorships with the possibility for promotion to tenured W3 professorships.

Within its Fellowship program, the TUM Institute of Advanced Study (TUM-IAS) awards Rudolf Mößbauer Tenure Track Professorships to excellent early-career scientists with a high potential for developing an internationally recognized research agenda at TUM. Applications are invited for up to five professorships in the following areas of the TUM research:

·         Accelerated Catalyst Discovery by High Throughput Experimentation

·         AI in Biosystems Design

·         Biohybrid Heterogeneous Catalysis

·         Nanoelectronic Circuits and Systems

·         Organoid Systems

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include research and teaching in the university’s bachelor and master programs as well as the promotion of early-career scientists.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have established a strong track record during their postdoctoral phase. A university degree and an outstanding doctoral degree or equivalent scientific qualification, as well as pedagogical aptitude, are prerequisites.
