In der Immatrikulationshalle der Technischen Universität München findet vom 26. April bis 31. Mai eine Ausstellung über den Münchner Mathematiker Emil J. Gumbel (1891 - 1966) statt. Als Statistiker und Pazifist setzte sich Gumbel gegen Extreme und für die Weimarer Republik ein.
