Start-up consulting

UnternehmerTUM GmbH, the centre for entrepreneurship at TU München, supports the "TUM.The Entrepreneurial University" strategy of Technische Universtität München with its wide service portfolio for company founders. The centre affords countless opportunities for TUM students, scientists and alumni to acquire the required entrepreneurial know-how free of charge. In addition, UnternehmerTUM also helps university innovation and start-up teams to establish their own business venture.

Technology scouting
www.unternehmertum.de/gruendung/geschaeftsentwicklung.html
Engineering and science-oriented teams are often lacking in commercial expertise in the early stages of setting up their business. In the business development projects, the UnternehmerTUM team deals with matters relating to business start-ups such as the enterprise's strategic approach and gaining a market toehold. UnternehmerTUM also provides assistance in drawing up the business plan and establishing contacts to venture capital institutions, such as the high-tech founder fund.

GründerTUM workshop

The GründerTUM workshop, run by UnternehmerTUM in association with the business consultancy Ernst&Young, provides a sound knowledge on topics connected with business start-ups in a compact form. There are experts to talk over any specific queries with you – on subjects like marketing, finance and funding, the legal form of a business, as well as on the scope, buying and selling of patents.

GründerLAB

The so-called GründerLAB service offered by the UnternehmerTUM gives start-up teams access to a fitting environment at the Garching Technology and Incubator Centre (gate) and allows them to use offices and conference rooms, the InnovationLab and the prototype workshop. Moreover, the staff of UnternehmerTUM are on hand at all times to answer queries and can provide fast, non-bureaucratic assistance.
