TUM. The Entrepreneurial University
Enterprising spirit at TUM means promoting and bringing together a wide range of diverse talents. In the context of top-level research this means combining a maximum of individual freedom with a functioning, science-friendly administration.
The "TUM.The Entrepreneurial University" concept for the future, which is being sponsored as part of the Excellence Initiative with a total of about 56m euros over a period of five years, is accordingly designed to contribute to the university's development by fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and approach. The goal of the enterprise is to achieve a level of academic research that can compare with the best international standards. The entire agenda of TUM is rooted in this aim.
