Description of course of studies

Since winter term 2006/07, the TU München offers Biology and Chemistry as well as Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics as a modular Bachelor course of studies for Teaching at Academic Secondary Schools - Scientific Education. In accordance with the Bologna process, it opens the possibility that after completing the Bachelor's degree either continuing to study the Master studies for "scientific education" Teaching at Academic Secondary Schools or taking up a scientific Master's Degree (if necessary with a couple of additional modules).

Internship

School practical courses: 40 days block practical course in the chosen major subjects (the orientation practical course is here integrated and does not have to be done not before beginning of the study) at an academic secondary school during the first semesters combined with a corresponding lecture at the university.

Filled-up application form , in case of submission of an application for an aptitude test always include a motivational letter or statement, self-assessment test, university entrance diploma (certificate of qualification for university entrance in the form of a certified copy, curriculum vitae , a recent photograph

preliminary inspection documentation, Filled-up application form, copy of a (foreign) school leaving certificate or examination which qualifies the applicant to study at an institution of higher education in Germany (="Abitur"), certified translation of the above document, in case of submission of an application for an aptitude test always include a motivational letter or statement, self-assessment test, passport-size photograph, CV with details of previous study (which institutions of higher education attended, examinations passed, etc.), proof of previous study (i.e. copy of student ID), proof of german language proficiency upon enrolment
