Description of course of studies

International and German students will be prepared for professional work in the various fields of resource management. Graduates will learn important concepts and techniques for sustainable management and they will acquire special management skills. This program addresses the full spectrum of natural resource management, from human resources to landscape planning, and including plant, water and wildlife resources. It takes students well beyond the boundaries of traditional disciplines, such as forestry and agriculture.

an above average Diplom or Master’s degree in the field of engineering science, natural science obtained at the university of applied science; an above average Bachelor’s degree in one of the above mentioned fields obtained at an acknowledged University or equivalently rated University; a Diplom or Master's degree in the field of engineering science, natural science, economics, social sciences obtained at an acknowledged University abroad or equivalently rated University; very good English skills are required.

Major fields of study

A series of 7 core courses are required. This is followed by twelve courses in 2 elective fields, selected from among eight fields of specialisation. This sequence then leads to the Masters thesis.
