Description of course of studies

The Master’s course of study in Mechanical Engineering and Management was carefully planned to meet the requirements of industry and research, providing engineers with well-grounded specialized technical knowledge and supplementary business skills. Therefore they have a stronger technical focus than industrial engineers. In professional practice, these management-qualified engineers bridge the gap between a company’s technical and business-oriented departments.

With this training, management engineers can take on leadership roles in almost any department, from distribution and development to production and marketing. They take on tasks in areas that involve complex interrelations and changing perspectives, such as project coordination, technology management and controlling of technical goals. With the knowledge gained in the Mechanical Engineering and Management Master’s course of study, graduates have the skills to successfully identify, analyze and resolve economic, technical and corporate challenges.
