Models, concepts and procedures for the use and protection of the human environment are the focus of the Master's program of environmental planning and engineering ecology. The teaching of these skills should lead to a scientifically-competent and critical-consciously deal with questions of nature and environmental protection. Topic is for examples the use and modification of abiotic and biotic resources such as soil, water, air, flora and fauna, the handling of waste or the reclamation of contaminated soils and waters. In addition, the protection and development of aesthetic qualities of nature, the discussion and development of guidelines, issues of landscape management and strategies for their implementation in different societies and cultures.Curriculum (link)

Every applicant will be invited to a half-our interview at the faculty for landscape architecture and landscape planning. Besides the applicant normally one professor, one supporter of the mid-level faculty and one student will take part. For students from other continents we offer the possibility to do a skype-interview.Start of course
