In both research and education, Informatics at the TUM belongs to the top leading German universities. Students benefit from the good support and academic supervision and also complete their studies in a far shorter time compared with other German universities.In the Master program Informatics students deepen their knowledge in various areas like e.g. Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Robotics. At the TUM there is the full spectrum of interesting fields in Informatics. Students will gain experience as well in research as in software constructing. With the comprehensive knowledge and skills acquired with a Master program in Informatics at TUM a broad and exciting field of professions opens up for graduates including leading positions in the industry. The job variety ranges from creating and managing information systems, designing and implementing production lines, implementing data bases to designing traffic control systems, planning the software architecture in cars and aircrafts, or simulating technical and administrative processes. The Master program also lays the basis for a scientific career.
The English speaking program in Informatics is fully integrated in the Department's Master's program in Informatics which offers courses in both English and German.
