Industrial Biotechnology makes use of microorganisms or enzymes for industrial production. Industrial Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary science: on one hand molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology and bioinformatics are used for designing new biocatalysts (enzymes or microbial production systems). On the other hand the methods of process engineering science and technical chemistry are necessary to make use of the potential of these newly designed biocatalysts for industrial production. Masters of Science in Industrial Biotechnology perform varied and responsible work especially in research and development from laboratory to technical scale in chemicals industry, bio-industry, plant engineering and construction, biopharmaceutical industry, and environmental industry, respectively.Curriculum (link)

Preliminary inspection documentation , copy of a (foreign) school leaving certificate or examination which qualifies the applicant to study at an institution of higher education in Germany (="Abitur"), certified translation of the above document, in case of submission of an application for an aptitude test always include a motivational letter or statement, passport-size photograph, CV with details of previous study (which institutions of higher education attended, examinations passed, etc.), proof of previous study (i.e. copy of student ID), proof of German language proficiencyAttention!
