Description of course of studies

There are many areas of application for development and design engineers. These range from product planning to pure research and technical marketing. Development and design engineers look at the entire life cycle of a product, from the initial idea to manufacturing and finally recycling. Their tasks include development as well as planning and management duties.

Completing and solving technical and organizational tasks plays an important role in many industrial sectors, from the automotive and aerospace industries to the supply of a wide variety of products. Engineers in development and design must be able to familiarize themselves quickly with technical systems, and come to joint decisions and solutions. Engineers who develop and design companies work in an exciting, varied, and creative field in which they are expected to develop innovative solutions and products. Engineers with a Master’s in Product Development and Design will find themselves very well educated and prepared for this field.
