Duration of study (semesters)4
Description of course of studiesThe consecutive Master of Science in Communications Engineering addresses the demand on engineers capable of driving communications technology. With research-oriented specializations in Communication Systems and Communication Electronics graduates focus on either systematic approaches like signal processing, information theory, and network theory with their practical implementations or hardware implementations and integrated circuits. As a program in English language it targets international applicants that will pursue a career in the German economy afterwards or as doctorates in science.
Major fields of studyThe MSCE program is divided into 4 semesters. It offers two core modules in Communications Systems – CS and Communications Electronics – CE. The Communications Systems module concentrates more on the system aspects of communications technology. The Communications Electronics branch is focused on IC Design and the aspects of hardware implementation.
