Course of studies

Duration of study (semesters)

Description of course of studies

The choice of courses from one specific course catalogue guarantees flexibility in designing the course of study, as well as an individual, target-oriented education tailored to the challenging careers that students plan to pursue. Students can decide whether they will specialize in one of the traditional disciplines – aerodynamics, lightweight structures, flight system dynamics, flight propulsion, automatic control, airplane design or astronautics – or whether they will pursue a broad area of general knowledge. The well-grounded course of study is not just useful for employment in the aerospace industry, but it also qualifies students for work in many other branches, such as automotive engineering or IT. The international environment of Aerospace Engineering plays out on all levels of daily work, and it requires particular flexibility and creativity. Preparing for these challenges forms a significant part of the modern Master’s course of study. Exchange programs give students the opportunity to spend a semester at a foreign university and adapt to the educational system and social life of another place. The technical and social skills acquired by graduates of this course of study are an outstanding preparation for a successful career in the aerospace industry.

Application period for winter semester: 01.04. - 31.05.
Application period for summer semester: 01.11. – 31.12.
Our online application portal will create a checklist with documents you have to hand in. The checklist shows which documents you need for admission and which for enrollment.

You must submit the signed application form and all documents you need for admission before the application deadline, i.e. before 31.05. for winter semester and before 31.12. for summer semester.

You must submit all documents you need for enrollment before 15.09. for winter semester or before 15.03. for summer semester. If individual documents for enrollment are not available at that date, you can hand them in up to five weeks after the start of the lecture period.
