Description of course of studies

The Bachelor of Nutritional Science at TUM combines the interdisciplinary fundamentals and the knowledge of modern nutrition research with those of medicine, food science and public health. Nutritional science is a complex discipline, which examines food composition, metabolic processes and the effect of food components on the human organism in the context of health and quality of life. Modern nutritional science builds on the basic knowledge of genetics, molecular biology and cell biology through experimental and epidemiological research up to clinical and socialmedical analysis of people. The bachelor program ends with the Bachelor's degree as a first title that qualifies for a professional career.
