Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering is a joint master degree run by Technische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM) and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU). The course is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge in aeronautical and space design as well as research to create swifter, safer, economical, and more sustainable aircrafts and spacecrafts. Strong technical modules and essential non-technical topics are covered. The course is held in Singapore and administered by the German Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Singapore.Work as engineers, research officers in employers like EADS, Rolls-Royce, Eurocopter, Nordam, Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton-Sundstrand, Goodrich, DSO/DSTA, RSAF, ST Aerospace, Honeywell, TOS, GE Aviation, CAAS and others.
Programme Structure and Duration
A full-time programme designed to meet the various needs and backgrounds of potential students. It is an Aerospace education as well as a conversion course for BEng holders with a Mechanical Engineering degree. The duration of the programme will be four semesters for those with a 3-year BEng degree or a Mechanical Engineering degree (without aeronautical specialization), and three semesters for those with a substantial aerospace background. An accelerated programme is possible with the possibility to reduce the time to two semesters, if the Master’s thesis is completed within the semesters 2 and 3. http://www.gist.edu.sg/career_aero_eng.aspx
Tuition fee is SGD 5,000 (for the 1st semester), then SGD 10,000 per semester.
