TEMPORARY ACCOMODATION

In case you have not found suitable accommodation at the beginning of your stay in Munich there are the following transitional solutions:

• Youth hostels:Costs from 15 to 40 € and it's necessary to be member of the DJH.
• Hostels:Comparable to youth hostels but it's not necessary to be a member of the DJH.
• Hotels and Pensions: Guestrooms which cost between 20 and 70€. Sometimes rent by private persons.

It is almost impossible to get temporary accommodation in a youth hostel or guest house during Oktoberfest (September 18th, 2010 to October 3th, 2010) because these are booked out well in advance. During this time, prices double.
