Student jobs

Generally, student jobs are difficult to come by. The “Studenten-Service” - the student branch of the Munich Employment Office – helps students find jobs that last from several hours (“Schnelldienst”) to several weeks.

"Jobbörse"

“Studenten Service” works in co-operation with the firm “Die Job- Börse”, to form an employment office. Students and graduates can go to the “Job-Börse” to get information about internships, as well as full-time and part-time positions. This service is free of charge.

Career opportunities at TU München

On campus, students may hold jobs as student assistants for research projects or other activities carried out by an institute or academic chair. Information regarding such job opportunities is posted on the bulletin boards (“schwarze Bretter”) of individual institutes and academic chairs.
